WHY, HELLO THERE GORGEOUS!

I'm the kind of person that falls in love with moments, with feelings, with memories. Capturing stillness, laughter and light. Forever embodying time, in a single concrete second. I'm lucky to do what I do. Who wouldn't want the superpower that allows you to pause time?

I'm also the kind of person that craves nachos at 8:00am and sports wild toques while dropping my kids off at school.  I hoard bags of mini chocolate bars and treats to eat in bed with my husband while we stay up way too late, ugh, early, watching just one more episode of Suits.  My favourite winter nights are the ones spent in my living room cheering on the Calgary Flames, sipping on a glass of wine while board gaming it up, or lounging on my bed in a sea of Project Life.  Coffee is my lifeblood. Impromptu dance parties are my heartbeat. My calm and my crazy are one and the same, my children.

I love hard.  My family, my friends and above all; my husband.  He's my rock. He's my every aching sparkling, adoring adjective you can think of.  And it still doesn't do him justice.  He's real, support me 1000% & understands my intense desire to document our life.  He's always down for our own photo sessions as he knows how important it is!!  Did I mention he brings home wine every Wednesday night? Yea, he's a total keeper!

I'm a bit of a paradox if you start to look too close.  Gold sparkles and hot pink sunrises, skulls and glitter.  Cozy days in my pjs, chitin' with the family, living the MojiLife! I adore Ice Cube, Warren G, Eric Church, NoFX, Elle King and Kenny Chesney.  I'm eclectic, in every sense of the word, and I own that!  Heck, even each of my camera lenses has it's own personality, it's now pizazz, it's own name!  Perhaps Harold, Betsy, or maybe Pedro will find your inner glow.  Nothing makes me happier when my clients remember the names of my lenses & busts out a "hey, it's Harold!".    It makes my heart smile.

But mostly, I'm a strong believe in capturing life & never letting it fade away.  I believe in something that Mose would consider a lost art.  Not just photo taking, but documenting.  No photo shall be left behind.  I print every photo I take and I do it for my kids.  I want them to know my story, their story. Our life, through the eyes of me.  What better filter to give my children, than the lease of my heart .I want that for you too.

And remember.... happy is pretty!
