They are only little for a very short time. Document the little toes and squishy back fat before it flies by and you wish you had. I like to photograph newborns around the 5-12 day old mark. That being said, I will never turn down a baby because of age. It is never a ‘bad’ time to photograph a child. You will never be disappointed you took a lot of photos. Side Note: If you are in my studio, be prepared to be asked to get in a photo with the little one. Auntie, Grandma, make-up, no make-up, I don’t care…and neither will the little bundle of joy. I guarantee you, in 50 years, your grown up baby, will be so happy you got in front of the camera for one ‘quick shot’. Documenting your family’s life is my passion. It is so important to get these images for future generations.
